Job summary

Roughan & O'Donovan (ROD) is recruiting a land liaison officer for a specified purpose contract on the N4 Mullingar to Longford project. The role involves coordinating with landowners and stakeholders along the route and supporting access arrangements for construction activities.

You will be based in Mullingar and attend meetings on-site during the working week, with responsibilities including validating land ownership records, confirming access rights and planning accommodation works as needed,

Qualifications

• Background in construction and/or stakeholder management.
• Understanding of urban road construction and its impacts.
• Good organisational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide information to land and property owners affected by the project.
• Agree access to privately owned lands for contractors carrying out advance works and surveys as part of the project.
• Agree the nature and extent of accommodation works required for each affected stakeholder for inclusion in the project design.
• Assess the accuracy of land ownership records held by the local authority and confirm these records with individual stakeholders.
• Make all reasonable enquiries to establish the identity of landowners.
