Job summary

Roughan O'Donovan invites applications for a land liaison officer to support the N4 Mullingar to Longford project. Based in Mullingar, you will engage landowners, verify ownership details, and coordinate access for contractors during the advance works and surveys.

The role requires strong stakeholder management, a good grasp of urban road construction impacts, and fluency in English. A full driving license and own vehicle are essential, with MS Office and GIS proficiency.

Qualifications

• Background in construction and/or stakeholder management.
• Understanding of urban road construction and its impacts.
• Good understanding of farming practices.

Responsibilities

• Providing information to land and property owners affected by the project.
• Agreeing access to privately owned lands for contractors carrying out advance works and surveys as part of the project.
• Agreeing the nature and extent of accommodation works required for each affected stakeholder for inclusion in the project design.
• Assessing the accuracy of land ownership records held by the local authority and confirming these records with individual stakeholders.
• Making all reasonable enquiries to establish the identity of landowners.
