Job summary

Northern Trust in Ireland is seeking a KYC CoE Team Lead to oversee end-to-end KYC activities, including CDD and EDD, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant outputs while embedding strong first-line controls across KYC processes.

The role involves managing a team of KYC professionals, driving process improvements, and partnering with Governance, QA, Training, and 2LOD to ensure alignment with enterprise risk appetite.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of AML/KYC regulations and CDD/EDD requirements.
• Experience leading KYC/AML operations teams in financial services.
• Ability to manage high-volume, risk-focused processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day KYC operations within the CoE across CDD/EDD.
• Ensure alignment with AML/KYC policies and regulatory requirements.
• Manage capacity, SLAs, and escalation for complex KYC cases.
• Drive remediation actions from QA reviews, audits, and regulatory exams.
• Provide updates and insights to senior management.
