Job summary

Calusade Hotels Limited is seeking a Kitchen Porter to maintain cleanliness and hygiene across our kitchen and back-of-house areas, supporting the Executive Chef and Head Kitchen Porter. You will handle dishwashing, basic food preparation, and ensure HACCP and health and safety standards are met.

A strong work ethic and ability to work under pressure are essential, with a collaborative approach valued in our busy kitchens across the hotel group.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a hospitality or kitchen environment preferred.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Operate dishwashing and pot wash equipment in line with SOPs.
• Clean crockery, cutlery, pots and pans manually and using machinery.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, walls, equipment and storage areas.
• Complete scheduled deep cleaning in line with HACCP checklists.
• Ensure back-of-house areas meet hygiene standards.
• Assist chefs with basic food preparation tasks such as vegetable preparation.
• Support plating and banquet preparation as required.
• Maintain organized work areas to support efficient kitchen operations.
• Assist with waste management and recycling procedures.
• Follow all kitchen SOPs and health and safety procedures.
