Job summary

Dalata Hotel Group plc is seeking a Kitchen Porter to join our kitchen team. You will receive training through the Dalata Academy to develop essential culinary support skills and grow within our hospitality group.

You will work closely with a friendly team, help maintain HACCP standards, and ensure the kitchen stays clean and well organized. Flexible hours including mornings, evenings, and weekends are required.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen experience is required.
• Flexibility to work mornings, evenings and weekends.
• Ability to work well in a team and on own initiative.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef with the overall running of the kitchen.
• Monitor food quality and maintain adequate supplies of clean ware and utensils.
• Ensure cleanliness of the kitchen at all times.
• Work with the team to uphold HACCP standards.

Your Job:

• Assist the Head Chef & Sous Chef with the overall running of the kitchen.
• Take direction from department managers and assist in the monitoring of food. Maintaining a supply of clean ware/cooking ware & kitchen utensils at all times
• Responsible for the cleanliness of the kitchens at all times
• Work alongside the chef team to maintain HACCP standards

What You'll Need:

• Previous experienceworking in a kitchen.
• Flexibility in working hours as the role includes mornings/evenings & weekends
• Ability to work as part of a team or on own initiative
