Job summary

Conaty Food and Catering Supplies in Ireland is looking for a Junior Sales Representative to meet potential customers and develop new business opportunities.

You will visit local businesses, promote our full range of catering products, and build lasting relationships while supporting a small portfolio of existing customers. A full clean driving licence and training will be provided to help you succeed in a field-based role.

Company Information and Introduction

Conaty Food and Catering Supplies, one of Ireland's leading Catering suppliers to the hospitality industry are looking to recruit a Junior Sales Representative to meet potential customers and develop new business opportunities.

Hours of work

Monday to Friday

9am - 6pm

Key Responsibilities and Duties

Visit local business areas to identify and approach potential new customers

Introduce and promote the company’s full range of food and catering products

Build relationships with new clients through face-to-face visits and follow-ups

Manage a small portfolio of existing customers and support their ongoing needs

Learn how to identify sales opportunities and convert enquiries into orders

Maintain accurate records of customer visits, opportunities and sales activity

Represent the company professionally at all times when dealing with customers

Full clean driving licence

Full training and ongoing support will be provided.

Key Skills and Competencies

A strong interest in sales and building relationships

Confident, friendly and comfortable speaking with new people face-to-face

Self-motivated with a positive attitude and willingness to learn

Good organisational and time management skills

Basic IT skills (email, CRM or order systems - training provided)

Ability to work independently and manage a daily schedule

A professional appearance and approach when representing the company

Experience:

Previous sales experience is an advantage but not essential

Experience in hospitality, foodservice or customer-facing roles is beneficial but not required

This role is ideal for someone starting their career in sales or looking to move into a field-based sales role
