Job summary

Keelings is recruiting a Junior Sales Staff to generate leads, develop new customer relationships and get involved in business development activities to grow our market share.

You will establish and maintain relationships with customers, support sales strategy, and maximise sales and margins while providing excellent customer service. A full, clean driving licence and interest in fresh produce are essential.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in written and verbal English.
• Previous experience in a sales role would be preferable.
• Full, clean driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Establish, develop and maintain relationships with internal and external customers.
• Support with the sales strategy and plan for key customers along with the overall business strategy.
• Assist in developing opportunities in the region.
• Maximise sales and margins.
• General administration support.
• Provide excellent customer service to customers, working alongside senior sales personnel to develop skills.
• Business Development with new and existing customers.
• Liaise with the business to close out any customer issues.
• Using CRM as sales tool.

Purpose of the Role

Keelings Select is recruiting Junior Sales Staff to generate leads, develop new customer relationships and get involved in business development activities to grow our market share and nurture existing customer relationships.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities

• Establish, develop and maintain relationships with internal and external customers
• Support with the sales strategy and plan for key customers along with the overall business strategy
• Assist in developing opportunities in the region

• General administration support
• Provide excellent customer service to customers, working alongside senior sales personnel to develop skills.

Key Skills & Knowledge

Essential:

• Full, clean driving licence
• Previous experience in a sales role in a busy, commercial business would be preferable
• A passion for fresh produce and eagerness to develop further knowledge of the sector
• Ability to perform under pressure in an ever-changing environment
• Highly accurate and attention to detail essential
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Fluency in written and verbal English
