Global Professional Consultants in Dublin seeks a Junior Quantity Surveyor to support large civil infrastructure projects. The role focuses on NEC contracts, cost control, procurement, and collaboration with project teams.

You will contribute to tenders, valuations, and cost reporting while developing professional skills in a dynamic infrastructure environment. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying with 1 year of experience and be proficient in COINS, Primavera

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying.
• 1 year experience in quantity surveying within civil engineering or internship.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts, cost control and procurement processes.
• Proven experience with NEC contracts is essential.
• Proficient in COINS, Primavera P6, MS Project and MS Office.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Procurement, appointment and management of subcontractors and suppliers through to final account.
• Produce accurate progress accounts.
• Prepare and assess interim and final valuations for progress payments.
• Monitor and report on project costs.
• Collaborate with project teams to identify and mitigate risks and cost overruns.
• Assist the pre-construction team in the delivery of tenders.
• Stay updated on industry innovations and regulations.
