Job summary

BYD Wexford is seeking a motivated Junior Parts Advisor to join our Aftersales team in Enniscorthy, Co. Wexford. This permanent, full-time role offers full training and ongoing support to help you build a career in the automotive industry.

You will assist with day‑to‑day parts operations, stock management and customer service, learning from experienced colleagues in a friendly team. Previous parts department experience is a plus but not essential.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical knowledge is essential.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail are required.
• Good communication and customer service skills are important.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the day-to-day running of the parts department.
• Assist with ordering, receiving and organising vehicle parts.
• Check stock levels and help maintain an organised parts department.
• Assist the Service and Parts teams with their daily requirements.
• Help identify and supply the correct parts for vehicles.
• Provide friendly and efficient service to customers and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate stock records and ensure parts are stored correctly.

The Ideal Candidate

• Basic mechanical knowledge is essential.

• A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team and use their own initiative.
• Previous experience in a parts department or motor industry would be an advantage but is not essential.
