Job summary

SSA Group is seeking a Junior Health & Safety Officer for a Dublin-based role with a leading Main Contractor. This permanent position offers a salary of €45,000–€50,000 and a company vehicle.

You will be integrated into an established health and safety team and will report on subcontractors and project teams, help collect health and safety documentation, and promote on-site training and awareness of health hazards across sites in Ireland.

Qualifications

• Relevant Health & Safety qualification required.
• Health & Safety experience (1 year) required.
• Full driving licence.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Report on subcontractors' and project teams' safety performance and make suggestions to management.
• Monitor EHS Advisors reporting into you.
• Help with the collection of Health & Safety Documentation.
• Ensure that staff are aware of their obligations.
• Partake in raising awareness of health dangers and on-site training.
• Delivery of HSE standards, systems, and processes.

Main duties will include, but not be limited to:

• Report on the subcontractors' and project teams' safety performance and make suggestions to management as appropriate.
• Monitor EHS Advisors reporting into you.
