Job summary

Building Staff Solutions Ltd. is recruiting a Health & Safety Officer to support construction sites in Dublin. The role suits someone early in their H&S career, with site experience and a relevant qualification, and a willingness to travel between sites.

You will carry out daily site monitoring, audits, inductions, toolbox talks, and manage RAMS, permits, and documentation while liaising with main contractor safety teams and maintaining Safe-T standards.

Qualifications

• Relevant health and safety qualification.
• Construction site experience.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail in documentation.
• Confident communicator, comfortable delivering inductions and toolbox talks to site crews.
• Full, clean driving licence, with willingness to travel between sites.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily site monitoring and weekly site audits.
• Manage safety documentation, including RAMS and permits.
• Review and manage subcontractor documentation, certification and training records.
• Deliver site inductions and weekly toolbox talks.
• Keep statutory paperwork up to date, including plant and equipment records.
• Report incidents and near misses, and track corrective actions to close out.
• Order and manage PPE.
• Liaise with main contractor safety teams and site management on H&S matters.
• Support the company health and safety management system and Safe-T certification.
