Job summary

SSA Group, on behalf of a multinational Main Contractor, is seeking a Health & Safety Officer to work on a landmark Datacentre project in Austria. This is a permanent, on-site role with an attractive package.

Responsibilities include delivering safety advice, inductions, ensuring HSQE compliance, contributing to method statements and safety plans, compiling the Safety File and coordinating with senior management.

Qualifications

• Hold a relevant Health & Safety qualification.
• Minimum 1 year of Health & Safety experience.
• Datacentre experience preferable.

• Deliver general advice and direction on health and safety to all stakeholders.
• Deliver induction training for health and safety.
• Ensure compliance with HSQE policies, procedures and systems.
• Promote method statements, safety plans and toolbox talks.
• Compile the Safety File and prepare the Client for delivery.
• Promote a safe, incident-free workplace and report incidents and audits.

SSA are recruiting a Health & Safety Officer on behalf of a multinational Main Contractor to be based on a Landmark Datacentre project in Austria. This is a permanent position within the company.

About the role:

• Operate as a Health & Safety Advisor working on a landmark Datacentre project

Your main duties will include, but not be limited to;

• Deliver to all stakeholders general advice and direction on all aspects of health and safety.
• Deliver induction training for health and safety
• Achieve compliance with the organisation's HSQE policies, procedures, and systems.
• Assist in spreading the word about method statements, safety plans, and toolbox talks
• Compile the entire Safety File and prepare the Client for delivery.
• Promote the company's objectives for a safe and incident-free workplace
• Review corrective measures taken in response to incidents, inspections, and audits on a regular basis.
• Conduct routine site audits and inspections, and report results to senior management.
• Continually communicate with senior management

To be successful in your application you will possess the following;
