Job summary

Sigmar Recruitment is seeking a Junior Electrical Engineer to join our growing client in Tralee. This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate or junior engineer to develop their career within a well-established electrical contractor delivering projects across Ireland.

You will assist with planning and delivery of electrical projects, read drawings, support design and take-offs, and liaise with contractors and site teams to ensure quality and safety standards are met.

Qualifications

• Degree/Higher Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• 0–2 years' experience, graduates encouraged to apply.
• Good understanding of electrical systems and engineering principles.
• Ability to read and understand electrical drawings.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit or BIM/MEP would be highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret electrical drawings, specifications and technical documentation.

• Liaise with contractors, suppliers, consultants and other project stakeholders.
• Ensure work is completed to required quality, health & safety and project standards.
