Job summary

Navartis Ltd. seeks an Electrical Engineer to join the Co. Kildare project team on a major €400 million brewery development.

You will review drawings, coordinate technical documentation, prepare RFIs, and support procurement and handover activities across design, construction and commissioning phases. The role requires 2–4 years' experience, a Level 7 degree in electrical disciplines, and strong knowledge of Irish electrical standards.

Qualifications

• A Level 7 Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Services Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2–4 years' experience in electrical engineering or related role.
• Good understanding of electrical systems from design, construction, or installation perspective.
• Knowledge of electrical services such as power distribution, lighting, containment, fire alarm, emergency lighting, and general building services systems.
• Ability to support project teams with technical queries, design coordination, site issues, submittals, inspections, and handover documentation.
• Capable of working as part of a project team, taking direction from senior engineers, project managers, design teams, and site teams.
• Good knowledge of relevant Irish electrical, fire alarm, and emergency lighting standards.
• Knowledge of engineering software such as Dialux, Relux, Amtech, Navisworks, AutoCAD, or similar packages is desirable but not essential.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

The Role

We are currently seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our clients project team in Co. Kildare. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a major, €400mln brewery project and play a key role in the successful delivery of the electrical package.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Assist with the review of drawings, specifications and schedules to support compliance with project requirements, applicable standards and industry guidance.
• Support the review of coordinated construction drawings and technical documentation.
• Assist in the preparation of RFIs and technical queries for issue to the client, design team or consultants.
• Support the review of specialist supplier packages against the project specification and relevant standards.

• Assist with the preparation of operation and maintenance manuals and project handover documentation.
