Job summary

H&F Electrical Contractors Limited in Ireland is seeking a Junior EHS Officer to support environmental, health and safety across our Limerick, Cork and national projects. You will assist with site safety inspections, RAMS, record-keeping, inductions and incident investigations while developing your qualifications through hands-on training.

Qualifications

• OH&S/Environmental/Safety degree or working towards.
• Interest in construction health and safety management.
• Awareness of Safety Act 2005 and Construction Regulations.
• Strong organisational skills and detail-oriented.
• Good communication with site and management teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Full driving licence; Safe Pass an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist with site safety inspections and audits and track actions to close-out.
• Assist RAMS preparation, review and communication.
• Maintain EHS records including training, inspection reports and permits.
• Deliver site inductions and toolbox talks, and promote safe systems of work.
• Support investigation and reporting of accidents, incidents and near-misses.
• Monitor compliance with health and safety legislation and Safety Statement.
• Support environmental management on site, including waste segregation and spill prevention.
• Review subcontractor EHS documentation and certification.
