Job summary

Elk Recruitment is seeking a BER Assessor for a permanent full-time role based in Dublin. The position offers a work-from-home option and a base salary of €35,000 to €37,500, with subsistence, a company vehicle, and a company laptop.

Ideal candidates will have a Level 6 qualification in Construction/Engineering/Architecture/Sustainability and be registered as a BER Assessor on SEAI if possible. Experience in energy assessments and audits is essential, with advantageous knowledge of Airtightness

Qualifications

• Level 6 Qualification in Construction/Engineering/Architecture/Sustainability.
• Registered BER Assessor on SEAI is ideal.
• Experience in energy assessments and audits.
• Airtightness Testing or Ventilation Validation is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed BER assessments for residential properties.
• Evaluate building energy performance and compliance with regulations and standards.
• Use assessment methodologies to evaluate energy performance.
• Prepare comprehensive reports with findings and recommended improvements.
• Provide guidance on energy efficiency measures and sustainable practices.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance energy performance initiatives.
