The Red Carnation Hotel Collection is seeking an IT Support Technician to join our IT team at a luxury hotel in Ireland. You will provide first-line support, maintain IT systems, and ensure colleagues receive timely assistance with hardware, software and network issues.

Qualifications

• Experience in an IT support, helpdesk, or technical support role.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of Windows, Microsoft 365, and common business applications.
• Familiar with computer hardware, networking, and system administration concepts.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proactive, adaptable, and committed to providing excellent user support.
• Hold a relevant IT qualification or certification (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line IT support to hotel staff, resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, phones, and other IT equipment.
• Log, track, and resolve support tickets in a timely and professional manner.
• Assist with user account management, password resets, and system access requests.
• Support the maintenance and security of IT systems, networks, and devices.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and escalate complex problems when required.
• Assist with system upgrades, software installations, and IT projects.
• Maintain accurate IT documentation, asset registers, and inventory records.
• Provide user training and guidance on IT systems and best practices.
• Ensure IT services are delivered in line with company policies, procedures, and security standards.
