Job summary

Tractamotors Blanchardstown Ltd in Blanchardstown, Dublin 15, is seeking an ICT Support Technician to install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot the company’s computer systems and network infrastructure. The role focuses on delivering secure and reliable ICT services across the site and supporting end-users.

The ideal candidate will have IT qualifications, solid hardware and software knowledge, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications

A qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field is desirable.
Good knowledge of computer hardware, software, operating systems, networking and ICT security is required.
Strong technical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and resolve technical issues involving computer hardware, software, operating systems and network connectivity.
Install, configure, test and maintain computer systems, software applications and associated ICT equipment.
Monitor ICT system performance, maintain network configurations, user access permissions and security settings.
Investigate system faults, perform routine system maintenance and support data backup and recovery procedures.
