Job summary

SureLogik seeks an experienced IT Support Engineer to join a growing IT team in Ireland. You will provide first-line IT support to office-based and remote users, work across multiple sites, and contribute to the administration of Windows Server environments, Microsoft 365, and security tooling.

You will develop skills in systems administration, networking, and infrastructure, with exposure to Hyper‑V, backups, and disaster recovery, while delivering high-quality user support and documentation.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years IT support or systems administration experience
• Strong knowledge of Windows Desktop and Windows Server environments
• Experience with Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Entra ID
• Networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and VPNs
• Experience with Active Directory and user administration
• CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Azure Fundamentals
• Experience with Hyper‑V virtualization
• Exposure to Cisco networking, SonicWall firewalls, or Veeam backup solutions
• Structured cabling knowledge and basic scripting (PowerShell)
• Familiarity with macOS and Linux environments

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line IT support to office-based and remote users across multiple sites
• Log, manage, and resolve incidents and escalate as appropriate
• Maintain accurate technical documentation and infrastructure records
• Manage IT assets including hardware, software, and licensing
• Support endpoint security, patch management, and system monitoring
• Assist with backup monitoring and disaster recovery activities
• Deploy laptops, desktops, printers, and VoIP equipment
• Support ongoing improvements across the IT environment
