Job summary

Anthropic is hiring an IT Support Engineer to empower a large macOS environment and scalable IT operations. You will triage hardware, software, networking and accounts, while partnering with IT Engineering and Security to automate repetitive work and improve the day-to-day employee experience.

The role involves on-call rotations, hands-on support for user tech and AV, plus writing scripts to automate tasks and improve processes as we scale.

Qualifications

• Hands-on IT support experience in fast-paced environments.
• Experience supporting macOS endpoints, ChromeOS, iOS and Android.
• Experience with Google Workspace administration.
• Experience with Slack administration and workspace management.
• Experience supporting other SaaS tools.
• Understanding of identity and access fundamentals: SSO, MFA, directory services.
• Familiarity with MDM fundamentals and endpoint management concepts.
• Basic scripting (Bash or Python) for automation.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Triage and resolve issues across hardware, software, networking, and accounts.
• Diagnose and fix issues across macOS, ChromeOS, iOS, Android, and core SaaS platforms.
• Troubleshoot device enrollment, configuration profiles, and policy enforcement.
• Support access management and lifecycle workflows (onboarding, offboarding).
• Handle escalations requiring cross-team coordination.
• Join an on-call rotation for urgent issues outside business hours.
• Provide hands-on support for user technology, AV systems, and printers.
• Write and maintain internal runbooks and knowledge base articles.
• Spot patterns in requests and surface recurring issues for automation.
