Job summary

Learnosity seeks an Internal IT Specialist to join a small Dublin team on a part‑time basis (20 hours weekly, mornings) in our Dublin office. You will be the sole IT resource on the ground, supporting employees, onboarding/offboarding, and maintaining Google Workspace and Azure AD accounts across time zones.

You’ll help cover gaps between our IT support regions, troubleshoot Windows and macOS devices, manage tickets in Zendesk, and document systems and procedures while growing with a global IT

Qualifications

• Experience supporting Windows devices enrolled via Intune/Azure AD.
• Experience in IT helpdesk, office support or customer service.
• Mac devices managed via Jamf.
• Ability to work independently in a small team.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day IT support to employees on hardware, software and account issues, in person and remotely.
• Log, triage and resolve support tickets via Zendesk.
• Own user onboarding and offboarding, including account setup and deactivation.
• Purchase, set up and configure end-user hardware and peripherals.
• Manage Google Workspace and Microsoft 365/Azure Active Directory accounts.
• Maintain accurate IT asset registries.
• Provide timely updates to users on system issues or outages.
• Create and maintain documentation of IT systems and procedures.
• Escalate complex issues to IT Manager with context for quick resolution.

• We are searching for an Internal IT Specialist to join our small team. This is a part‑time role (20 hours a week, mornings, five days in our Dublin office) where you’ll be primarily focused on supporting our Dublin office, while also helping cover the gap between our Australian IT support going offline and our US‑based IT support coming online, supporting the wider business globally across time zones
• You will be the sole IT resource on the ground in our Dublin office
• The Internal IT Specialist reports to the IT Manager, based in the US, and works closely with employees across Learnosity, providing hands‑on, day‑to‑day IT support and helping to keep our people set up and productive
• The role is focused on hands‑on, front‑line IT support and is best suited to someone who is customer‑focused, eager to learn, and comfortable working independently in a small team
• Provide day‑to‑day IT support to employees on hardware, software and account issues, in person and remotely

• Can competently troubleshoot and support Windows devices enrolled via Microsoft Intune/Azure AD
• Good attention to detail and problem‑solving skills
• Can troubleshoot and maintain basic networking setups: Wi‑Fi connectivity, site‑to‑site and client VPNs, and IP/DNS conflicts
• Can administer Google Workspace accounts end‑to‑end: user provisioning and deprovisioning, group and sharing‑permissions management
• Strong communicator, able to explain technical issues clearly to non‑technical colleagues
• Can administer Microsoft 365/Azure Active Directory accounts end‑to‑end: user provisioning, group and permissions management, device enrollment
• A qualification in systems administration or Prior experience in an IT helpdesk, office support, or customer service role
• Can independently image, enroll, and troubleshoot Mac devices via Jamf.
• macOS is our primary platform
• Proactive rather than reactive — happy to spot and flag issues before they become problems
• Comfortable working independently, and confident asking for help or escalating when needed
• Exposure to tools such as Slack, Confluence, or Zendesk
• Experience or interest in scripting with Google APIs (e.g. Apps Script)
• An interest in using AI tools to help drive process innovation and automation
• An interest in building a career in IT systems administration
