Qualifications

• 8+ years in user operations, engineering, or support engineering in high-growth tech startups or similar environments.
• Strong SaaS troubleshooting skills with ability to grasp new technologies quickly.
• Experience scripting in Python or similar to automate tasks.
• Excellent enterprise communication and calm under high-stakes live incident calls.
• Proven ability to build strong relationships with customers and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues for customers, including API failures and production incidents.
• Serve as expert on OpenAI products and platform, guiding customers and internal teams.
• Escalate and collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Operations to prevent recurring problems and automate workflows.
• Contribute to scaling solutions by sharing learnings with Product and GTM teams.
• Identify opportunities for automation and AI-powered improvements to increase efficiency and reduce manual work.
• Provide occasional holiday and weekend on-call support as needed.
