Job summary

IT Search is seeking an IT Support Engineer to join a growing team in Maynooth. The role blends desktop IT support with AV responsibilities across offices, training spaces, and events, ensuring smooth daily operations.

The position is permanent and on-site, with a salary around €50K per year DOE. You will handle tickets, set up devices, and support video conferencing while occasionally traveling to Dublin-region sites.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years' experience in Desktop / IT Support.
• Strong troubleshooting across hardware, software, networking, and AV.
• Experience with Teams and video conferencing platforms.
• Familiarity with ITSM / ticketing systems.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Able to work independently and manage priorities.
• Full Irish driving licence required for site travel.

Responsibilities

• Resolve Service Desk tickets and provide hands-on IT support.
• Set up and support laptops, phones, and end-user devices.
• Provide AV support for meeting rooms, training sessions, and events.
• Support Microsoft Teams and other video conferencing platforms.
• Assist with onboarding, asset management, and device lifecycle processes.
• Support remote users via VPN and remote access tools.
• Travel to other locations for onsite IT support when required (Dublin region).

Our client, a growing organisation currently expanding its IT team, is seeking an IT SupportEngineer to support its training hub and additional sites when required.

This role combines Desktop IT Support and Audio Visual (AV) responsibilities, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across office, training, and meeting environments.

This is a permanent fully position on site in Maynooth, salary guide is €50K p.a. (DOE)
