ICT Services is currently seeking a Desktop Support Engineer to work on a customer site in Ringaskiddy, Cork. This is a full-time role in a fast-paced, high-profile environment. Applicants should have prior experience in similar settings and meet the minimum requirements described.

You will provide hands-on hardware and software installation and support, manage user accounts, assist with Windows-based systems, and coordinate with vendors to ensure timely maintenance and service delivery on site.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on hardware and application installation and support for non-Production Automation systems, including QA, QC Labs, and Manufacturing Floor systems.
• Perform PC setup, configuration, and qualification for QC Labs, including IQ/OQ and 21CFR11 qualification.
• Work as part of a global EUC team to implement the company’s IT policies.
• Provide Identity and Access Management services to the site.
• Configure and install new laptop and desktop computers.
• Diagnose and repair faulty laptops, desktops and peripherals.
• Coordinate with external vendors for troubleshooting, repairs, and new installations and Preventative Maintenance tasks.
• Install and support Windows Server based local IT systems.
• Ensure meeting rooms, video conferencing systems and digital signage on site function correctly.
• Resolve day-to-day staff IT queries.

This is a full-time position working in a face paced and extremely high profile client. Applicants must have previous experience in similar environments and meet and exceed the minimum requirements below.

Responsibilities:

• Providing hands on hardware and application installation and support to all non-Production Automation systems, including QA, QC Labs, and Manufacturing Floor qualified and non-qualified systems.
• Performing instrument attached PC setup, configuration, and qualification for QC Labs, including build qualification, IQ/OQ and 21CFR11 qualification.
• Working as part of a global EUC team to implement the company’s IT policies.
• Provide Identity and Access Management services to the company’s site
• Configuration and installation of new laptop and desktop computers.
• Diagnosis and repair of faulty laptops, desktops and peripherals.
• Co-ordinate with external vendors to ensure troubleshooting, repairs, new installations and Preventative Maintenance tasks completed successfully and as scheduled
• Installation and support of Windows Server based local IT systems.
• Ensuring functionality meeting rooms, video conferencing systems and digital signage on site
• Resolving any other day to day queries staff may have.
