Job summary

eir business talent is seeking a Senior Project Manager for a day-rate contract in South County Dublin. The role focuses on establishing the PMO and Change function and delivering a portfolio of business and technology initiatives.

The ideal candidate will bring hands-on PM experience, strong governance and stakeholder influence, and the ability to implement structured delivery in complex environments.

Qualifications

• Proven track record delivering projects as a hands-on Senior Project Manager.
• Experience taking initiatives from initial concept and business case through to implementation.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across all organisational levels.
• Excellent planning, governance, RAID and dependency management experience.
• Strong business analysis and problem-solving capability.
• Experience managing projects where resources are shared between BAU operations and change initiatives.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to develop costed project proposals and business cases.
• Ability to establish structure and drive delivery within complex or ambiguous environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple concurrent business and technology projects from initiation through to successful delivery.
• Define project scope, objectives, resource requirements, timelines and delivery approaches.
• Develop business cases, project initiation documentation and delivery plans.
• Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, assumptions and budgets.

• Provide clear and accurate project reporting to senior management and governance forums.
• Drive project momentum, remove blockers and ensure delivery commitments are achieved.
• Support the continued evolution of PMO processes, governance frameworks and project delivery standards.

Our client, a leading organisation operating within a complex and evolving business environment, is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager toestablish theirPMO and Change function.

This is an excellent opportunity for a delivery-focused Project Manager who has successfully operated in organisations where project management capability is still maturing and where projects require structure, leadership and stakeholder engagement to progress successfully. The successful candidate will manage a varied portfolio of business and technology initiatives while contributing to the development of project governance, delivery standards and PMO best practice.
