Job summary

The role is a 6-month contract with hybrid attendance, Monday to Friday, and requires strong Microsoft 365 administration, Windows Server, Active Directory, LAN/WAN, ITIL knowledge, plus a third-level IT qualification.

Candidates must be eligible to work in Ireland and hold relevant certifications; this is a hands-on, enterprise

Our Dublin based client is looking for an Infrastructure and Cloud Operations Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will support and enhance the organisation’s core IT infrastructure and cloud services.

• 6-month contract
• Monday to Friday
• Hybrid attendance pattern

Key Responsibilities:

• Support and maintain Microsoft 365 services and infrastructure.
• Administer and troubleshoot Microsoft Windows Server environments.
• Manage Active Directory users, groups, and policies.
• Support and monitor LAN/WAN network services.
• Resolve infrastructure incidents and service requests.
• Implement system updates, patching, and security controls.
• Follow ITIL best practices for service management and change control.
• Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.

Key Professional Experience:

• Minimum 7 years’ experience in IT Infrastructure and/or IT Operations roles.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Microsoft 365 administration and support.
• Proven experience managing Microsoft Windows Server environments.
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory administration.
• Experience supporting LAN/WAN services and network connectivity.
• Good understanding of ITIL principles and service management processes.
• Experience troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues in enterprise environments.

Educational Requirements:

• Third-level qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Relevant Microsoft and/or ITIL certifications would be advantageous.
