Lincoln Recruitment Specialists in Ireland seeks a Head of Sales to lead the freight business within the Irish market and work closely with the Managing Director and European sales team.

This senior commercial role focuses on driving new business, strengthening partnerships and maximizing revenue, gross profit and profitability across Ireland. You will lead a high‑performing team and shape the commercial strategy for sustainable growth.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent qualification is desirable.
• Senior-level commercial or sales leadership experience in road freight/logistics.
• Proven track record delivering sales targets and profitable growth.
• Ability to lead, motivate and develop a commercial team.
• Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead and develop the Irish road freight sales and commercial function.
• Define and execute the commercial strategy aligned with objectives.
• Drive new business development and market expansion.
• Grow accounts through relationship management and upselling.
• Maintain a strong pipeline of profitable opportunities.
• Own sales performance, revenue growth and gross margin targets.
• Collaborate with operations for onboarding and service excellence.
• Lead tender activity and strategic customer reviews.
• Work with Irish and European senior management to drive growth.
