Job summary

LauraLynn, Ireland's Children's Hospice is seeking a Clinical Nurse Specialist (IPC) to lead infection prevention and control practices across our services. The role provides expert clinical leadership, education, audit, surveillance and quality improvement to support safe, high-quality care for children and families.

The successful candidate will have registered nursing or midwifery status with NMBI, an NFQ Level 8 IPC qualification, and substantial experience in IPC and nursing

Qualifications

Registered Nurse/Midwife with active NMBI registration.
NFQ Level 8 qualification in Infection Prevention & Control or related.
Minimum 5 years post-registration nursing experience.
Minimum 1 year's IPC experience.
Strong leadership, communication, audit and education skills.
Commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous professional development.

Responsibilities

Lead infection prevention and control practices across LauraLynn services.
Provide expert clinical leadership, education, audit, surveillance and quality improvement initiatives.
