Job summary

Grant Thornton is seeking a Financial Reporting Manager for FAAS Advisory in Dublin on-site. This 6-month FTC focuses on fund reporting, technical accounting and AI automation within the reporting lifecycle.

You will lead client engagements, manage teams, and review complex financial statements under US GAAP, IFRS and Lux GAAP, collaborating with asset managers, auditors and administrators to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

ACA/ACCA/CPA qualified or IFAC qualification.
6-8 years of experience in investment fund financial reporting, with at least 3 years leading teams and managing client engagements.
Deep knowledge of investment fund reporting with experience in US GAAP, IFRS and Lux GAAP.
Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
Strong communication, report writing, commercial awareness and stakeholder management.
Ability to assess AI use cases, control risks and measure business value without compromising reporting quality.

Responsibilities

Lead investment fund financial reporting engagements, business process reviews and remediation projects.
Manage a portfolio of investment fund reporting clients with accountability for quality, timelines, and budgets.
Review financial statements, disclosures, and schedules for completeness and consistency.
Review complex accounting and disclosures across valuation, financial instruments, consolidation and related parties.
Develop team capability through coaching, technical training and succession planning.
Lead AI and automation initiatives across the reporting lifecycle and define controls for AI use.
