Hewlett Packard Enterprise Development LP invites university students to join a Hybrid Cloud Dev Engineering internship in Galway, Ireland. Start date 11 January 2027, ~8 months, with two days per week in an HPE office and remaining days remote.
You will be mentored by senior engineers, participate in onboarding and ongoing development, and gain hands-on experience across Go, Python, AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, and more within a Scrum team.
This role has been designed as 'Hybrid' with a requirement that you will work on average 2 days per week from an HPE office.

HPE Operations Research and Development Centre in Galway is one of the largest software engineering centers in the West of Ireland. As a system/software engineer, you will work on a specific project critical to HPE Services Digital Experience with opportunities to gain experience across a broad range of modern technologies. You will be enthusiastic, and versatile, and take on new problems across the full stack. You will communicate effectively and be motivated to achieve results as part of an Agile team. You will be customer-focused and be given the time to learn in-depth about software development practices, the latest tools for software development and frontend technology, as well as our Continuous Delivery Pipeline. Senior engineers will mentor you on your way. You will be part of a Scrum team that regularly delivers well-tested releases and responds to the needs of customers.
