Allied Talent is partnering with a corporate finance advisory firm supporting an Irish M&E contractor in the data centre sector. They need a hands-on contract accountant to build the finance reporting from the ground up.

The role involves reconstructing monthly management accounts, creating WIP schedules, and establishing cost-to-complete forecasts. You will reconcile WIP and revenue recognition to the GL and implement a robust monthly reporting process.

Formación

• Qualified accountant with ACA/ACCA/CIMA designation.
• Experience in WIP, accrued/deferred revenue and revenue recognition.
• Background in M&E, construction or engineering, data centre exposure a plus.
• Demonstrated history of establishing new processes, not just maintaining them.
• Proficient with Xero or similar accounting software.

• Reconcile project-level WIP and revenue recognition back to the general ledger
• Put a reliable monthly reporting process in place going forward

What you’ll bring:

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
• Strong contract accounting experience: WIP, accrued/deferred revenue, revenue recognition
• Background in M&E, construction or engineering (data centre exposure a plus)
• Proven track record of setting up processes, not just maintaining them
• Xero or similar

This is a 6 to 8 week initial contract with possibility for extension. Our client is open to 3-4 days per week with the ideally canidate being available to start immediately.
