Job summary

Recruiters in Cork city are recruiting a Sales Advisor to support customers across Personal Lines, Commercial and Agricultural insurance. The role emphasizes developing new business, servicing existing clients and helping the branch reach sales and customer-service goals.

Ideal candidates have proven sales experience, strong communication skills and a proactive, energetic approach. Insurance experience is advantageous and qualification in APA/CIP/APP is desirable with support provided to obtain

Qualifications

Experience in sales, face to face or over the phone is essential.
Customer-focused and commercially minded.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Able to identify and develop sales opportunities and build relationships.

Responsibilities

Achieve individual sales targets through prospecting and up-selling.
Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers.
Identify opportunities to improve customers’ cover and insurance solutions.
Support renewal and account management activities.
Handle customer queries and refer technical matters as appropriate.
Assist customers at initial claims notification stage.
Maintain accurate records and ensure procedures and regulatory requirements are followed.
Support the branch team with day-to-day administration and customer service.
Develop and maintain knowledge of insurance products and regulations.
