Job summary

FBD Insurance is seeking a Sales Advisor to drive Personal Lines, Agri and Commercial business in Mullingar. You will support the Sales Office and pursue targets while handling customer queries and ensuring regulatory compliance. This is a 12-month temporary contract within the Sales Functions Pay band.

Applicants should have Leaving Certificate or equivalent and relevant product qualifications; Microsoft Office experience is preferred and prior insurance experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Leaving Certificate or equivalent qualification.
• Relevant product accreditation desired; support to obtain will be provided.
• Experience in insurance/financial services is advantageous.
• Sales or customer service experience is expected.

Responsibilities

• Achieve individual sales targets via prospecting, upselling, and cross-selling.
• Handle customer queries and refer complex issues to the relevant personnel.
• Maintain systems and procedures as per company policy.
• Keep up-to-date knowledge of products and CPD qualifications.
• Provide coverage to other Sales Offices in the region as needed.
• Develop relationships with local advisors to improve service delivery.
• Engage in renewal follow-ups and identify opportunities.
• Assist with initial claims notifications and debit/premium collections.
