Recruiters in Cork city are recruiting a Sales Advisor to support customers across Personal Lines, Commercial and Agricultural insurance. The role emphasizes developing new business, servicing existing clients and helping the branch reach sales and customer-service goals.

Ideal candidates have proven sales experience, strong communication skills and a proactive, energetic approach. Insurance experience is advantageous and qualification in APA/CIP/APP is desirable with support provided to obtain

Responsibilities

• Assist customers at initial claims notification stage.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure procedures and regulatory requirements are followed.
• Support the branch team with day-to-day administration and customer service.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of insurance products and regulations.

Are you a customer-focused, driven and proactive sales professional looking for your next opportunity within insurance or financial services?

We’re currently recruiting for a Sales Advisor to join a successful regional team, supporting customers across Personal Lines, Commercial and Agricultural insurance.

About the role

You’ll play an important part in developing new business, supporting existing customers and helping the branch achieve its sales and customer service objectives.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Achieving individual sales targets through prospecting, up-selling and cross-selling
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing customers
• Identifying opportunities to improve customers’ cover and insurance solutions
• Supporting renewal and account management activity
• Handling customer queries and referring technical matters where appropriate
• Assisting customers at the initial claims notification stage
• Maintaining accurate records and ensuring company procedures and regulatory requirements are followed
• Supporting the wider branch team with day-to-day administration and customer service
• Developing and maintaining knowledge of insurance products, compliance requirements and industry regulations

About you

• Insurance experience - is an advantage
• Experience in sales, face to face or over the phone - is a must.

Previous experience in insurance, financial services, sales or customer service would be advantageous.

An APA, CIP, APP or equivalent insurance qualification is desirable, although support will be provided to obtain the appropriate qualification where required.
