Qualifications

• APA qualified, or willing to complete the relevant Insurance Institute qualifications with full support from GMIB.
• Leaving Certificate (or equivalent qualification), or a relevant third-level qualification.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Enjoys talking to people and building strong relationships.
• Has a customer-focused mindset and takes pride in delivering excellent service.
• Is confident, professional and comfortable working towards sales goals.
• Brings a positive attitude and a proactive approach to problem solving.
• Works well independently while also being a supportive team member.
• Is organised, adaptable and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Is comfortable using Microsoft Office and learning new systems.

Responsibilities

• Speak with existing customers to understand their needs and discuss their insurance renewal options.
• Deliver expert guidance on a range of insurance products and policy choices.

• Identify opportunities to cross-sell and introduce additional products that meet customer needs.
• Negotiate with customers to achieve positive outcomes.
• Support business growth by retaining customers and strengthening client relationships.
