Job summary

Aon plc in Dublin is seeking an Insurance Associate Manager to join the Captive and Insurance Management team. This hybrid role combines work in our Dublin office with virtual working to deliver underwriting and claims services for regulated captive insurers and reinsurers.

You will manage underwriting, insurance and claims for a client portfolio, prepare bordereaux, reports for the Board, and coordinate with brokers, insurers and external claim managers while collaborating with actuarial,

Qualifications

• Three years’ experience in insurance or captive management, broking, underwriting, claims or corporate insurance management.
• Third-level qualification and/or partial or full professional insurance qualification is desirable.
• Fluent written and spoken English; other European languages are advantageous.
• Microsoft Office proficiency, particularly Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage underwriting, insurance and claims services for a portfolio of clients, ensuring accurate, efficient delivery and timely completion of all deliverables.
• Provide technical expertise and communicate effectively with clients.
• Coordinate with Brokers, Insurers and External Claim Managers, Auditors and Actuaries.
• Collaborating with other functions, e.g., Actuarial, Finance and Compliance.
• Prepare and/or analyse premium and claims Bordereaux.
• Prepare premium and claims reports for review by Board.
• Attend and support the client lead at the captive insurance company Board Meetings.
