Job summary

The Rehab Group is seeking an Instructor to deliver QQI Levels 3 and 4 training in Kilkenny, including PC Maintenance and Networking modules, with a focus on supporting learners toward further education or employment.

Candidates should have a third level qualification and a QQI Level 6 Train the Trainer qualification, plus proven experience in training environments and delivering QQI Level 4 certifications.

Qualifications

• Third level qualification in any area (employment, business, education, training, social care, retail, logistics).
• QQI Level 6 Train the Trainer qualification required.
• Experience in a specialized training environment is needed.
• Experience delivering QQI Level 4 certifications is expected.
• Experience in developing and delivering training is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide systematic training according to curricula for QQI Levels 3 and 4.
• Coordinate and facilitate delivery of modules for QQI certifications.
• Support learners in progressing to further education or employment.
• Deliver PC Maintenance and Networking modules as specified.

Job Title: Instructor(VT instructor for 21hrs p/wk on a Level 4 General Learning Programme and 15 hrs p/wk on a HSE funded bridging and transitioning non-certified programme Evolve.)

Specific Purpose Contract, 36 hours a week

Salary starting from €36,455.15 with 14 increments to €61,581.27per annum, based on qualifications and experience

Job Purpose:

The instructor is responsible for the training and development of Learners in accordance with the agreed local training programme specifications, together with the day-to-day running and maintenance of all aspects of the training programmes. The instructor assists Learners with additional support needs in exploring their future career and educational direction and in making realistic vocational choices with a view to progressing to further education/employment

The instructor will be responsible for all aspects of module delivery, co-ordination and facilitation in respect of the PC Maintenance and Networking programme.

Minimum Education & Experience required:

• Third level qualification in any area such as employment, business, education, training, social care, retail, logistics etc.
• A relevant pedagogical/training qualification - Train the Trainer QQI Level 6 as a minimum
• Experience of working in a specialized training environment
• Experience in delivery of QQI level 4 certifications.
• Experience in developing and delivering training would be an advantage
