Job summary

Forvis Mazars is seeking an experienced System and Infrastructure Administrator & Project Lead to maintain our core on‑premises IT and drive the hybrid cloud transition. The role involves managing 16+ VMware hosts, ~200 servers, and 1,000 users, deploying secure solutions, and leading infrastructure projects in collaboration with global IT and MSP partners.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in Windows administration, strong VMware and Azure knowledge, and familiarity with project management

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Windows Systems Administration in an enterprise environment.
• Experience with VMware ESXi and vCenter (vSphere 8 or newer).
• Knowledge of Windows Server 2016+ and Active Directory.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and optimize core on-premises environment powered by VMware and Windows Server.
• Manage Domain-based Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and GPOs.
• Escalation point for complex infrastructure and server issues.
• Own end-to-end lifecycle of infrastructure projects from scoping to documentation.
• Translate milestones and risks into clear leadership-level documents.
• Follow ISO27001 framework.
