Job summary

Vantage Resources is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to join our Dublin team, delivering and supporting large-scale infrastructure projects. You will be responsible for specification, planning, implementation, troubleshooting and documenting technical solutions.

We value strong VMware virtualization experience, Windows Server expertise and scripting skills (PowerShell/VBScript). Collaboration with vendors and project teams is essential to ensure SLAs are met and improvements are implemented.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of commercial experience supporting, maintaining and deploying infrastructure systems.
• Strong knowledge of virtualization technologies, ideally VMware, with relevant certification.
• Experience with Windows Server and desktop operating systems with Microsoft certifications.
• Experience troubleshooting live infrastructure environments and performing root cause analysis.
• Understanding of scalable infrastructure solutions; scripting knowledge (PowerShell/VBScript) is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Deliver technical infrastructure projects including specification, planning and implementation.
• Support development of continuous improvement plans and infrastructure enhancements aligned with client requirements.
• Provide technical expertise across infrastructure, virtualization technologies and Windows server environments.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues, perform root cause analysis and ensure SLA-aligned resolution.
• Manage client relationships, coordinate with external vendors and support infrastructure expansion and refresh initiatives.
• Produce technical documentation, best practice guides and provide technical support to project teams.
