Job summary

JPMorganChase in Dublin is seeking a Software Engineer III to design, build, and operate enterprise-scale infrastructure. You will write production code in Python/Go/Java/C++ and apply AI-native practices to accelerate delivery and grow your technical craft.

You will work hands-on with senior engineers on real production systems, shaping an engineering hub and contributing to reliability, security, and cost optimization from day one.

Qualifications

• Production code experience in Python, Go, Java, C++ or Rust.
• Solid Unix/Linux knowledge and networking fundamentals.
• Experience with infrastructure domains (cloud, compute, storage, security, data).
• Hands-on with infrastructure tooling (Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD, databases).
• Systems thinking, reliability, and cost awareness.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate features within enterprise-scale infrastructure.
• Write and review production code with emphasis on reliability, performance, security, and cost.
• Diagnose production issues with senior engineers and improve operability.
• Work AI-native across the SDLC, including AI-assisted development and testing.
• Share on-call rotation and respond effectively to incidents.
• Decompose problems for yourself and AI agents into production-ready work.
