Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. in Dublin is seeking a Software Engineer III to join the new Infrastructure Platforms hub. You will design, build, and operate enterprise-scale infrastructure features, writing production code and solving complex reliability, security, and performance challenges.

You’ll work AI-native across the SDLC, collaborating with senior engineers to shape the engineering culture and deliver scalable platforms in a greenfield Dublin environment.

Qualifications

• Production-grade code in Python, Go, Java, C++, or Rust.
• Experience with Linux/UNIX and networking fundamentals.
• Hands-on with infrastructure domains (cloud, compute, storage, security).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate features within enterprise-scale infrastructure platforms.
• Write and review production code focusing on reliability, performance, security, and cost.
• Diagnose production issues with senior engineers and improve system operability.
• Apply AI-native practices across the software lifecycle and automation.
• Participate in on-call rotations and incident triage with measurable impact.
• Analyze and optimize code and systems for scalability and efficiency.
• Collaborate with teammates and stakeholders on technical decisions and risks.
• Maintain security-first mindset in engineering work.
