Title: ICT Project Manager

Location: South Dublin

Type: Permanent

My client is looking ICT Project Manager to oversee the delivery of a variety of technology projects across a growing organisation. The role will cover AI initiatives, system upgrades, new software implementations, infrastructure projects and company-wide technology rollouts. You will manage projects from initial planning through to implementation and handover, working closely with internal IT teams, business stakeholders and external technology partners.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes ownership, works independently and can manage multiple priorities without close supervision. The successful candidate will be proactive in identifying risks, resolving issues and keeping projects on track, while knowing when to escape decisions or challenges to senior management.

You will be a proactive, delivery-focused Project Manager who combines strong organisational skills with a practical, hands-on approach. You will be comfortable working independently, building relationships across the business and managing external partners to deliver successful outcomes. You will take responsibility for keeping projects moving, identifying potential problems early and communicating clearly with stakeholders. This role requires someone who can use their initiative, exercise sound judgement and work collaboratively within a wider IT team.

THIS IS A BRAND NEW PERMANENT ROLE

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple ICT projects from planning through to delivery and handover.


• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, budgets, risk registers and action logs.


• Coordinate internal IT teams, business stakeholders, external suppliers and implementation partners.


• Gather requirements, manage expectations and communicate project progress effectively.


• Lead project meetings and ensure actions, decisions and milestones are followed through.


• Monitor delivery against agreed scope, budget and deadlines.


• Identify and resolve project risks, dependencies and delivery issues.


• Support system rollouts, user communications, training and change management.


• Ensure projects are fully documented and successfully transitioned into ongoing IT support.

Experience and Skills:

• AI, automation or digital transformation projects.


• Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Power Platform, Dynamics 365 or Business Central.


• IT infrastructure, networking, cloud or cybersecurity projects.


• Project management qualifications such as PRINCE2, PMP, AgilePM or Scrum.


• Minimum five years' experience managing ICT, technology or business systems projects.


• Proven experience delivering software implementations, system upgrades or technology rollouts.


• Ability to manage multiple projects or workstreams simultaneously.


• Strong stakeholder management, communication and organisational skills.


• Experience coordinating internal teams and third-party suppliers.
