Job summary

PwC Ireland is seeking an experienced Senior Associate Project Manager to join the Tech Central IT team within Business Enablement Solutions (BES). You will manage multiple technology projects and oversee adoption of technology solutions, guiding cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has strong project management, people management and communication skills, with the ability to lead change and motivate teams, delivering projects on time, within budget and to agreed quality.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in technology delivery projects.
• 3+ years project management experience.
• Experience in the SDLC and software implementation.
• Experience with Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
• Experience in stakeholder management and working to deadlines and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Deliver IT Programme of Work and develop detailed project plans.
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties for execution.
• Monitor progress, address issues, and escalate when needed.
• Prepare regular project updates, reports and presentations.
• Support risk management and mitigation strategies.
• Lead project meetings, document minutes and actions.
• Ensure governance and documentation standards are met.
• Deliver benefits within time, cost and quality constraints.
• Drive continuous improvement and best practices in PM.

Line of Service Internal Firm Services Industry/Sector Not Applicable Specialism IFS - Information Technology (IT) Management Level Senior Associate Job Description & Summary We are looking for an experienced project manager to join our Tech Central (IT) team in Business Enablement Solutions (BES) to deliver technology related projects. Working as part of the project management team within Tech Central, you will manage multiple technology projects and be responsible for the development and delivery of a successful adoption of technology solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong project management, people management and communication skills with an ability to successfully manage change and motivate teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the successful delivery of projects to the IT Programme of Work including but not limited to: Development and maintenance of detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations.
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
• Monitor project progress and handle any issues that arise, escalating where necessary.
• Prepare and deliver regular project updates, reports, and presentations to stakeholders.
• Support risk management processes and help develop mitigation strategies.
• Facilitate project meetings, including scheduling, agenda preparation, and documentation of minutes and actions.
• Ensure compliance with project governance and documentation standards.
• Ensure projects deliver expected benefits within time, cost and quality constraints.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and best practices in project management.
• Manage the change impact.
• Direct and motivate the project team.
• Provide leadership, quality assurance, motivate and coach team members to develop their skill sets and capabilities.
• Manage activities related to planning and control of the function including service improvements.
• Work with cross functional IT and business teams to deliver the service.
• Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers and internal customers.

Education / Professional Qualifications:

Candidates to have a third level qualification in an IT related discipline or a general primary degree followed by a postgraduate IT qualification A project management qualification such as Prince2, Project Management Professional (PMP)(Preferred), diploma in project management or change management certification.

Experience Required

• 5+ years experience working in technology delivery projects.
• 3+ years project management experience.
• Experience in the project management of the SDLC and software implementation.
• Experience of both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
• Experience of stakeholder management.
• Experience of working to committed deadlines and budgets.

Strong leadership, facilitation and organisational skills. Demonstrates ability to inspire confidence. Strong Analytical skills and proactive issue resolution. Credible at all levels, on business and technical subjects Ability to adopt and learn new skills quickly. Strong communication skills.
