Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate multiple NIS2 compliance and remediation programmes simultaneously.
• Develop and manage project plans, milestones, budgets, RAID logs, dependencies and reporting.
• Oversee NIS2 gap assessments, control implementation and remediation activities.
• Work closely with Information Security, GRC, IT, Risk, Compliance and infrastructure teams.
• Manage stakeholders across technical teams, senior management and wider business functions.
• Track progress against regulatory requirements, ensuring risks and delivery issues are escalated appropriately.
• Coordinate control owners and subject matter experts to drive accountability and timely delivery.
• Provide clear governance, programme reporting and updates to senior stakeholders.
• Support audit readiness, evidence gathering and the ongoing monitoring of compliance activities.

Information Security Project Manager – NIS2 Programmes

Location: Dublin / Cork

Contract: 12–18 Months

My client is seeking an experienced Information Security Project Manager to lead and coordinate multiple NIS2 compliance programmes across the organisation. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior Project Manager with a background in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) or IT Controls to take ownership of complex regulatory and security initiatives.

The successful candidate will manage multiple workstreams from initial assessment through to remediation and implementation, ensuring NIS2 requirements are embedded across the business. Working closely with Information Security, IT, Risk, Compliance and senior stakeholders, you will drive delivery, manage dependencies and ensure programmes remain on track against agreed timelines and regulatory objectives.

The ideal candidate will combine strong project delivery experience with a solid understanding of information security and cybersecurity principles. A technically aware Project Manager who can engage confidently with security and infrastructure teams, challenge delivery plans and translate complex technical requirements into actionable project outcomes would be particularly well suited.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager, Information Security Project Manager or Cybersecurity Programme Manager.
• Experience managing NIS2 programmes, regulatory compliance initiatives or complex security remediation projects.
• Background in one or more of the following areas: Information Security, Cybersecurity, GRC, IT Risk, Controls or Security Governance.
• Strong understanding of security controls, risk management and regulatory compliance frameworks.
• Technically aware, with the ability to engage effectively with security engineers, infrastructure teams and technical subject matter experts.
• Demonstrable experience managing multiple workstreams and complex stakeholder environments.
• Excellent communication, organisational and stakeholder management skills.
• Comfortable operating autonomously and driving delivery in a fast-paced environment.
