Job summary
TRS Staffing Solutions on behalf of an established Electrical Services Company is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Supervisor / Foreman to lead industrial and commercial projects in West Cork. The role is hands-on and focused on delivering safe, efficient, high-quality installations while coordinating site teams.
You will liaise with clients, plan daily activities, oversee control wiring, panels and PLC interfaces, manage RAMS, and mentor apprentices.
Qualifications
- Proven supervisory or foreman experience on electrical projects.
- Hands-on with control wiring, panels, and industrial control systems.
- Experience with PLC fault finding and I/O interfacing.
- Experience in live industrial environments (pharma, manufacturing, etc.).
- Full clean driving licence and strong safety focus.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise electrical projects on site from start to completion.
- Plan and coordinate daily and weekly work activities.
- Manage site teams of electricians and technicians.
- Liaise with clients for clear communication and delivery.
- Work with Contracts Manager to ensure projects run smoothly.
- Order materials and manage site deliveries.
- Ensure works comply with safety standards, permits, RAMS.
- Maintain high-quality installations with minimal rework.
- Support testing, commissioning, and handover documents.
- Mentor and develop electricians and apprentices on site.
