Job summary

Matchtech Group is recruiting an M&E Project Engineer to lead M&E work packages on hyperscale data centre projects across Finland, Germany, Spain, and the Netherlands. You will manage mechanical and electrical installations, coordinate offsite fabrication, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

The role requires a relevant degree, experience in M&E projects, and a willingness to work a 10/4 rotation across European sites.

Qualifications

• EU Passport is required for deployment across EU sites.
• Proven track record in M&E/MEP projects within hyperscale data centre environments.
• Willingness to work a 10/4 rotation across European site locations.
• Degree, HND, or equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services, or Process Engineering.
• Experience with modular offsite manufacturing and on-site assembly workflows.

Responsibilities

• Oversee on-site M&E packages to align with project programmes and client specs.
• Supervise day-to-day M&E installation and quality assurance across European hyperscale sites.
• Coordinate offsite pre-fabrication, FATs, and on-site assembly of mechanical/electrical skids.
• Assist in commissioning procedures with specialist engineers.
