Job summary

SMBC is seeking a Technology Business Management Associate in Tralee, Ireland, a hybrid role requiring attendance at the Tralee office at least three days per week. You will support the Technology group and CIO function with workforce planning, procurement governance, and financial reporting.

The candidate will work with Technology, Finance, HR, Recruitment and Procurement to ensure effective planning, reporting and governance, reporting to the Executive Director, AD Technology Business

Qualifications

• 5 years of relevant experience in business management, technology operations, or IT financial analysis.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau or Visio.
• Knowledge of ServiceNow, Coupa or Concur.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data and report findings.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with stakeholders across Technology, Finance, HR, Recruitment and Procurement.

Responsibilities

• Headcount management for position requests, reviews, approvals, and recruitment status updates across Technology.
• Workforce tracking across employees, contractors, and SOW resources.
• Collaborate with HR, Recruitment and hiring managers to ensure governance requirements are met.
• Create and maintain dashboards and scorecards to monitor Technology performance (KPIs).
• Coordinate procurement activities, vendor oversight, and technology expenditure.
• Produce clear management reporting to support Technology planning and decision-making.
• Reconcile headcount and procurement against budgets and forecasts with Finance.
