Job summary

DB Recruitment in Dublin is seeking a Solution Architecture Lead for a hybrid remote, long-term day-rate contract. You will define and govern end-to-end architecture for complex financial services transformation initiatives.

You will mentor architects, chair design forums, and collaborate with enterprise architects, technology leads, product owners, and vendors. Strong leadership and regulatory-aware experience are required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in solution architecture or senior engineering leadership in financial services or regulated environments.
• Experience leading architecture for large-scale platform transformation across the full software delivery lifecycle.
• Strong knowledge across applications, integration, data, cloud, security and infrastructure architecture.
• Experience producing current-state, target-state and transition architectures and roadmaps.
• Experience with APIs, messaging, event-driven patterns and third-party connectivity.

Responsibilities

• Lead the definition of target-state, transition and solution architectures for complex financial services technology programmes.
• Translate business capabilities, customer journeys and regulatory requirements into architecture designs and roadmaps.
• Own architecture principles, standards and governance across the software delivery lifecycle.
• Chair or support architecture forums, ensuring timely decisions and clear ownership.
• Collaborate with enterprise architects, delivery leads, product owners, engineering leads, security and data teams, and vendors.
