Job summary

Uniting Holding is seeking an organized Operations Manager to bridge sales and installation for our fast-growing solar team in Cork. The role blends remote work with our Cork office, overseeing the daily pipeline, scheduling crews, and ensuring projects run smoothly from sale to completion.

You will review designs, coordinate with customers and sales, manage inventory, and implement processes as the company scales. A driving licence and willingness to visit sites are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in operational scheduling, logistics, or project coordination is required.
• Solar or construction industry experience is a major plus.
• Strong organisational and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Design & Technical Review: create solar panel roof designs and final installation specs.
• Customer & Team Liaison: be the main contact between customers and sales through delivery.
• Scheduling & Allocation: plan installations weeks ahead and assign crew members.
• Daily Problem-solving: troubleshoot real-time issues and adjust schedules accordingly.
• Inventory & Procurement: monitor stock, place orders, and prep for pipelines.
• Process & Improvement: help implement systems and robust records across actions.
• Troubleshooting: handle initial service requests and technical queries.
• Health & Safety: act as Health and Safety Officer for the company.
