Job summary

Solar Systems Ireland is seeking an experienced Operations & Project Manager to own the delivery of residential and commercial solar PV projects across the full lifecycle, from site survey and installation to commissioning and handover. This senior, hands-on role coordinates customers, designers, electricians, roofers, subcontractors and internal teams to ensure safety, quality and on-time delivery.

The ideal candidate has strong electrical experience, can make technical and operational

Qualifications

• Experience in solar PV, electrical contracting, renewable energy or construction.
• Strong knowledge of solar PV and battery storage systems.
• Electrical qualification and knowledge.
• Experience commissioning solar PV, hybrid inverter and battery storage systems.
• Ability to manage multiple live projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple residential and commercial solar PV projects from sales handover to final completion.
• Review handovers for scope, pricing and customer requirements.
• Plan and manage installation schedules, resources and milestones.
• Coordinate electricians, roofers, scaffolders, subcontractors, suppliers and deliveries.
• Provide technical support to installation teams and resolve design, electrical and site issues.
• Monitor installations for programme, workmanship, quality and cost.
• Maintain communication with customers throughout the project.
• Manage variations and changes to project scope.
